Meet Arie! She specializes in dreadlocks, balayages, and vivids. She also throws down a mean fade technique as well! Once a Georgia peach, but is now a Murphysboro apple. Her love for anime and “cool shit” is ever-growing. She is part time at our shop, and in her spare time she is teaching the young minds of todays youths over at carbondale high school. we have the hots for a teacher, you will too.

Meet Cole.

Our resident emo kid, your local makeup artist, our hot topic if you will. Cole has been at faction 93 since the beginning of their career. Cole has happily been one of our most requested stylist thus far. From shags, to vivid rainbows, i am sure cole has you covered. now listen, they might be a little quiet, but no worries, 90% of the time, cole is probably having a conversation with herself. so dont worry, youre not going crazy, you did hear her talking to herself just join her conversation. go book with her for a good time.

Meet Dani! She has also been a stylist at faction 93 since the beginning of her career. Dani has quickly become a shop favorite, so her schedule books up fairly quick. Shes like a legacy stylist in our building because her mom actually used to work in our building a long time ago, so thats sick. Dani is like a legal dealer of drugs or something because she works at some pharmacy somewhere in southern illinois doing who knows what. anyways book with her if you wanna talk about DnD, road trips, or crochet.

Fun fact: Dani “loves kitties, does crochet and idk another fun fact” so bu default. shes our resident grandma.

Meet izzy! izzy here is our resident chaos coordinator and our very own mother goose. (Our green goblin) She has been doing hair since 2016 and decided in 2021 that it was the year to open a salon. one of the most important things to her is to make sure every guest feels comfortable and wants to make sure they feel like they are going to their besties house to get their hair done. She often is traveling for work as she is also our regional educator for pulp riot as a mainstage artist as well. She loves doin blondes and vivid colors and really anything to do with hair.

Fun fact: izzy loves anime, a good pun, and bad taxidermy. she even has clients bring her bones and taxidermy to her “shrine”

Meet joy, who is well, a joy. From her own verbiage she says : I love binge watching shows on Netflix with great snacks. I order way too much on door dash. I’m really into Romantasy books right now, anything with dragons in it. I’m also a bird nerd. The past two years I’ve been learning to identify birds by sound and I feed my backyard birds daily. I’m also a mom to 4 kids. I’d like to think I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom. My hair journey started in 2014, I got my cosmetology license through Southeastern Illinois College. Curly hair is definitely my passion but I love making people feel good no matter what their hair type! I also love spicy food and the color yellow.
